Physiological Responses of Non-Motorised Treadmill Study

Writer:realleaderfitnessDate:2017-3-3 08:57:11
Continuous oxygen uptake was measured during the treadmill running team-sport simulation using open-circuit spirometry, which was calibrated before and after each test with reference and calibration gases of known concentrations. The pneumotach was calibrated with ambient air using a 3-L syringe. Heart rate (HR) was recorded every 5s during the treadmill running team-sport simulation using Polar Team System HR monitors and analysed with the Polar Precision Performance SW Version 4.02 software package (Polar, OY, Finland). Blood lactate concentration was determined from 25-L capillarised blood samples taken from hyperaemic fingertips.Samples were drawn from all subjects immediately following the treadmill running team-sport simulation and analysed using an Accusport Portable Lactate Analyser immediately following collection.
