However, the possibility that altered neural input to the active muscles also occurred cannot be overlooked since perturbations in muscle activation strategies resulting from high-intensity intermittent exercises are common.Since we did not quantify the aetiology or magnitude of neuromuscular fatigue that treadmill exercise players experienced, it is too speculative to provide a definitive mechanistic explanation for the present mechanical alterations.
